Purchase District Health Department Clinics H1N1 vaccine

These clinics will focus on vaccinating individuals in the target groups listed below.

· 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 17 at the Ballard County Health Center

· 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Nov. 17 at the Carlisle County Health Center - by appointment only

· 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Nov. 17 at the Fulton County Health Center

· 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Nov. 18 at the Calloway County Health Center - by appointment only

· 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Dec. 2 at the Carlisle County Health Center - by appointment only

Individuals in the target groups recommended to receive the swine flu vaccine as soon as it is available in their communities are:

· Pregnant women

· Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age

· Health care and emergency medical services personnel

· All children and young adults age 6 months through 24 years, especially those with chronic conditions

· People age 25-64 years of age with chronic health conditions
